We have never had an issue with our pets and the wildlife on the property. There seems to be this sense between the animals that they know to stay in thier own space, and it's very cool to watch the dogs sniff and understand thier space and family territory. However, it is still your responsibility to watch over your own animals.

New Hogan Lake in Valley Springs

New Hogan Lake offers a variety of
dayuse facilities.. Visitors can enjoy fishing, waterskiing, and hiking in the scenic Sierra Nevada foothills. The lake is dog-friendly and family-oriented. The lake covers 6,342 land acres and 4,333 water acres, providing ample space for recreational activities. The Fiddleneck Day Use Area includes two 18-hole disc golf courses and is near picnic, boating, and swimming areas. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers manages the area and is open to the public for day use.

Enjoying the outdoors comes with responsibility. In this video, viewers are reminded of the importance of proper campfire safety — including never leaving a fire unattended and practicing basic fire prevention steps to protect our forests, homes, and neighbors.
